CRI bags National Energy Conservation Award for the 6th time | Engineering Review

Another feather in its cap, CRI Pumps has won has won the prestigious National Energy Conservation (NEC) Award for the year 2020 for the 6th time and 4th time in a row.

A cumulative saving of over 17,000 million units of electricity for the nation is not a cakewalk. Not just power saving, CRI pumps has also reduced carbon footprint to the extent of 14 million metric tonnes. Manufacturing energy efficient pumps as its DNA, CRI once again proves itself as a brand with responsibility as much as innovation.

With a strong portfolio of star-rated pumps, CRI has successfully installed over 1.65 million pumps across the nation, helping people of various segments from agriculture to manufacturing industries benefit with enormous savings.

Receiving the award from honourable minister of power R.K. Singh, G. Selvaraj, joint Managing Director, CRI Group said, “This is the sixth time CRI has won its NEC Award for helping our customers and the country save a significant amount of energy and money. We are extremely honoured by the recognition, and I thank the Govt. of India for appreciating and recognising our persistent efforts towards energy-saving and it is highly encouraging to push our limits further to work beyond and farther. I feel grateful to our customers, channel partners and stakeholders for the trust and for supporting CRI in every step forward. The company is deeply indebted to its R & D Division (Fludyn Advanced Technology Centre), its engineers, the management and every staff member for bringing the best out of us”.

CRI is one of the few companies that invest a great number of resources in Internet of Things (IoT) enabled Smart Pumps to save environmental resources like energy, water, time and money, and so far CRI has supplied 60,000 IoT-enabled Smart Pumps. The Government of India strives to implement various energy saving projects including AgDSM & Solar projects. CRI stands by the Government and provides its fullest support in making the endeavour successful.

CRI also makes enormous contributions in creating awareness about harnessing solar energy in an effort to save nonrenewable energy and has supplied over 43,000 IoT-enabled Solar Pumps made of cutting-edge technology with A.C. and D.C. motors. When durability is taken into account, CRI Solar Pumping Systems are also well-known in the solar segment.
